On-site Generation

Alternative power source for mains and back up power supply

What does that mean?

Energy trade has an on-site power generation division which provides an alternative power source for mains and / or back up power supply.

These include, solar PV, wind generation, turbine generation, blended fuels and pyrolysis technology single, co and tri generation systems.

What is wind generation?

A wind turbine that converts kinetic energy from the wind into electrical power.

Wind turbines range from applications such as battery charging devices to powering whole towns, known as wind farms.

What is co-generation?

Combined heat and power (CHP), also known as Co-Generation is an efficient, clean, and reliable approach to generating power and thermal energy.

By installing a CHP/Co-Generation system that is designed to meet the thermal energy requirements of a facility, the efficiency of a gas fired generator can be increased by 2.5 times.

What is tri-generation?

Combining cooling, heating and power (CCHP), also known as Tri-Generation, uses the exhaust heat for thermal energy requirements as well as using exhaust heat into an absorption chiller. An absorption chiller is a refrigerator that uses heat to provide the energy needed to drive the cooling system.

These systems can be designed  to meet all heating and cooling requirements.

What is Solar PV (Photovoltaic)?

Solar power is the conversion of sunlight into electricity

Solar PV (Photovoltaic) for commercial businesses offers an alternative to the rising network prices by allowing commercial property owners the ability to generate their own electricity on-site.
