The challenge:
Stable Properties were aiming for the highest ABGR rating for energy efficiency and renewable energy initiatives for this commercial building. The Owners Corporation wanted to utilise the vast roof space to harness solar power, supported with a community electricity network, and pass on savings to the tenants. Energy Trade’s skilled team were called in to manage the end-to-end process.
Our solution:
We facilitated the solar installation, replaced all the retail electricity meters, and also organised a backup generator to ensure tenants had uninterrupted power supply while work was carried out. With ongoing maintenance of the site and annual review of market prices and regulation changes, we continue to keep Lifestyle Working at the forefront of sustainable workplaces.
Results:
Generating their own solar power on-site and bulk buying electricity helped deliver sizeable energy discounts and lower operation costs and levies for tenants. Our energy solution also future-proofed the building’s energy demands and costs while creating revenue for the strata committee.
