Project Overview
Location:
Terry Road, Rouse Hill NSW
Completion:
2020
The challenge:
Looking to the future urban needs for sustainable living, the developers wanted green solutions to offer its new residents and tenants. Getting involved early on in the project was key to planning and optimising the most cost-effective green energy solutions for this development.
Our solution:
After close consultation with the builders and consultants, we drew up a plan to keep community energy usage costs to a minimum. Our end-to-end service included supply and installation of four Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations available to all residents, three hot water plants, solar arrays on the roof space, and facilitating the delivery of high-speed fibre networks.
Results:
Our energy-efficient solutions helped future-proof the development and offer a unique market differential. This resulted in faster unit sales and attracted a diverse group of residents, tenants, and property investors who will enjoy the energy savings for years to come.
Contracted work:
- Community Energy Network
- Hot Water & Gas Network
- Smart Metering
- Solar PV
- EV Charging
- Supply and installation of all equipment
- Management of the networks
- Ongoing maintenance and billing
Testimonial:
“As a large builder, our relationship with Energy Trade has been a real benefit to our operation during the 5 years we have dealt with then. Energy Trade has streamlined the Utility Provisions to our projects, alleviating our office from the tedious task of manoeuvring through the utility companies. At the same time, their position in the industry has allowed them to negotiate extremely beneficial pricing for both developers and builders.”
